Incredibly stiff suspension. corolla 2001. Help!

I have corolla 2.OD Limited 2001 model. I have an issue with its suspension. Its way too stiff, i can feel the tiniest bits of bumps on the road and unevenness. Even my alto 2005 does better than that.
Another proof is an experiment i did. I took it and my alto to an uneven road. I had the front right tyre on higher ground as a result of which the rear right tyre lost contact with the surface(i hope u get it). I did the same with alto, and the rear tyre remained grounded and didnt "lift" in the air.

One thing i must mention is that this issue is not new. I bought this car in 2002 and its still in mind blowing condition. I'm just mentioning this problem now. It was there when i bought the car.
The tyre setup is 185/65/r14

Time to replace suspension as 2.OD engine is very heavy so it used up its suspension earlier thn other versions.
or change the general tyre into some soft tyres
