Is 350k for an ABS Unit Fair?

I had my ABS light fixed by a local mechanic here in Lahore, but it came back on a few days later. So, I took my LC80 petrol to Toyota Airport for a second opinion.

They told me I need to replace the ABS unit and quoted me 350k for a new one. Does that seem like a fair price? The brakes are working fine, so Im wondering if I even need to replace it. They also said it would be another 250k to fix a gear oil leak.

Sorry to disappoint, Since your car is older, you’d be better off at a private workshop.

In Lahore, there’s a lot of really skilled mechanics.

Just know that, like most good mechanics, they charges for time, so even just getting a diagnosis and estimate will cost you.
