Is installing central locking in a car risky?

Hey there!

So, I was thinking about getting remote central locking installed in my new Corolla xli. Do you think its risky o r dangerous? Im a bit concerned about messing up the cars original wiring, like the lights o r the horn, you know? Any suggestions o r advice? Thanks!
