Is my Suzuki Alto’s engine running inefficiently due to old spark plugs?

I suspect that my Suzuki Alto’s spark plugs might be old o r worn out, which could be causing poor fuel economy. What signs should I look for to know if the spark plugs need replacing, and how will new spark plugs help improve fuel efficiency?

Yes, old o r worn-out spark plugs can contribute to poor fuel economy. Spark plugs are responsible for igniting the air-fuel mixture in the engine. If the spark plugs are worn o r faulty, they may cause incomplete combustion, which can reduce engine performance and fuel efficiency. You may also notice rough idling, difficulty starting the engine, o r engine misfires if the spark plugs are not functioning properly.

Solution:
If your spark plugs haven’t been replaced in a while, it’s a good idea to have them inspected and replaced if necessary. Generally, spark plugs should be replaced every 30,000-40,000 km, but this can vary depending on the type of spark plug used. Regular maintenance of your spark plugs will help keep your engine running smoothly and efficiently.
