Is poor fuel average on CNG a sign of a tuning issue in Suzuki Mehran?

I have a factory-fitted CNG Suzuki Mehran 2014 model, and the fuel average on CNG has ped a lot recently. I used to get over 130 km per cylinder, now I barely get 90-100 km. Could this be due to a timing o r valve setting issue? o r is it time to get the CNG kit serviced?

Yes, poor average on CNG usually points to tuning o r kit maintenance issues. Common reasons:

CNG kit needs cleaning o r servicing.

Spark timing is off – CNG requires different ignition timing than petrol.

Valve clearance might be tight – CNG runs hotter and affects valve lash faster.

CNG mixture too rich o r lean.

For CNG cars, its important to have a separate CNG tuning, not just general petrol tuning. Also, make sure youre using genuine Landirenzo components or equivalent quality if your CNG kit is aftermarket.

A well-tuned CNG Mehran can give 130–150 km per cylinder 55L in city driving.
