Khyber Doors Lock Automatically While Driving — Is This Normal o r Faulty Wiring?
After getting power door locks installed in my Khyber, I’ve noticed the doors sometimes lock automatically when the car picks up speed, without me pressing anything. Is this a feature o r a glitch in the wiring o r control module? How do I know if this is normal o r a fault?

This depends on the type of central locking system installed. Some aftermarket systems include a feature where doors lock once the vehicle reaches a certain speed o r when the ignition is turned on.
If It’s Normal:
Some brands like Steelmate, Tech, o r Cobra offer this auto-lock while driving feature.
You might hear a click once the car starts moving o r within a few seconds of ignition.
If It’s Not Normal:
Faulty wiring o r short circuits can cause the control unit to trigger locks randomly.
A stuck switch o r damaged relay may send incorrect signals to the locks.
Fix: Check your central locking system’s model and manual. If it has a programmable auto-lock feature, you can usually enable/disable it via a sequence like holding a button on the remote. If your system wasn’t meant to do this, check wiring for any grounding o r shorting issues and consult an auto electrician.
