Mark X Problem!

I have a Toyota Mark X 250G 2005 model. My car has some mileage issues. The car gives me about 9km inside the city and on the highway, it is giving us 13-15km/L with a full tank. But the issue is that the fuel consumption drastically decreases after 50 to 40 % of the tank, its mileage becomes 507 lm/l in the city and 10 km/l on the highways. Kindly help me to fix this issue.

I would suggest you to replace your fuel filter and put it an injector cleaner in ur car

this car has a 2-step fuel filter like there is, at homes.
the filter cannot be just seen and told if its okay o r not because the upper granuale part is blackish in a new filter as well and ofcourse in the second stage the filter does not get dark.
milegaes saroon ki peechay hui hoti hain so juz change da fuel filter...

and put an injector cleaner in it... but only the genuine one... not the 200 wala from pumps..
its a bit expensive... but trust me its worth it
