My 1985 BJ 60 Series Land Cruiser Engine Replacement Suggestion Needed!

The crankshaft of the original 3B engine is damaged, and Im considering two choices: replacing the crankshaft and restoring the original engine, o r upgrading to a newer engine. I welcome your suggestions and insights.
