My Car AC is Tripping

My Car AC is Tripping

Greetings, everyone!

I have a Toyota Grande with under 6,000 miles, manufactured in December 2021.

Over the past couple of months, Ive noticed that the air conditioner briefly trips every time I slam the brakes. However, it starts working again as soon as the car accelerates. Interestingly, the air conditioner doesnt trip when the car is parked.

I took my car to a highly reputable air conditioner mechanic in town, but he found nothing wrong with the air conditioner. He suggested that I should get the wiring of my car checked. Subsequently, I had my car scanned with a diagnostic gadget, and it showed no issues whatsoever.

Instead of running around and getting my car inspected without any results, I thought Id seek advice from fellow car enthusiasts on this forum who might help me understand and resolve this issue.

I had a conversation with my cousin about this problem, and I mentioned my plan to take the car to the dealership for a check-up. However, he strongly advised against it, expressing his belief that dealerships are not very reliable. He thinks they might unnecessarily replace the compressor, even if its not the real issue, and present me with a hefty bill.

Im hoping to receive some valuable advice from all of you. This issue is really puzzling me, and I would greatly appreciate your help in resolving it. Thank you in advance!
