My Khyber Pulls to One Side When Braking — Is This Due to Uneven Brake Pad Wear?

Whenever I brake, my car pulls to the left side. Could this mean that one side’s brake pads are more worn than the other? How common is uneven brake wear in Khyber, and could it be related to caliper o r alignment issues?

Yes, pulling to one side when braking is often due to uneven brake pad wear o r stuck calipers — a common issue in older Khybers.

Possible Causes:
Uneven Pad Wear: One sides brake pads may be thinner due to improper lubrication o r a stuck caliper piston.

Stuck Brake Caliper: If one caliper doesn’t release properly, it causes drag, uneven pad pressure, and vehicle pull.

Brake Fluid Contamination: Inconsistent pressure across wheels.

Fix:
Check pad thickness on both sides and replace both even if only one is worn.

Service o r rebuild the brake calipers and grease the slider pins.

Perform a brake fluid flush if dirty o r old.
