My Khyber’s Tires Keep Losing Pressure Even After Replacing the Valve Stems — What Could Be the Cause?

I replaced the valve stems on my Suzuki Khyber a few months ago because the tires kept losing air. But now, it seems like the issue persists — the tire pressure still s over time. Is there a hidden cause like a rim leak, o r could the new valve stems be faulty?

If your tires continue to lose pressure after replacing the valve stems, the issue may not be with the stems themselves but could be due to other causes like tire damage, rim leaks, o r faulty installation.

Possible Causes:
Rim Leaks: The most common reason for continued pressure loss after changing valve stems is a leak around the rim where the tire meets the wheel. Over time, corrosion, dirt, o r debris can affect the tire seal, causing slow air loss.

Damaged Tires: If there is a small puncture o r a crack in the tire, it may be losing air at a slow rate.

Incorrect Installation of Valve Stems: If the valve stem was not installed correctly o r wasn’t tightened enough, air can leak out.

Fix:
Inspect the Rim: Have a professional inspect the tire rim for corrosion o r damage. A tire technician can reseal the tire to the rim using a special sealing compound.

Check for Punctures: Examine the tires for punctures o r small cracks that may be causing air loss.

Replace Valve Stems Correctly: Ensure the valve stems were installed properly and are of good quality.
