Oil Change

Helo I want to change my car oil but my mechanic is little worried about that if trans oil is changed may be it cause shifting problems by disrupting viscosity in oil, he say the oil mixe with particles and creates a proper viscosity that should not be changed.. Suggest me something?

This is actually right
it is not recommended to change trans oil in a car transmission oil changed for a very long time for this exact reason

It's better to change lubes speacially when you buy old car. Because we don't know how it is used.
