Pajero vs. Prado for Budget Buyers

Pajero vs. Prado for Budget Buyers

Im on the hunt for a 4x4 and my budget is around 25 lakhs. I found a 1996 Pajero that’s in decent condition, and it comes with a 5 VZ FE 3400 cc Toyota engine. Im a bit worried about whether the Toyota engine will work well with the Pajero. Also, Im not sure if parts for this setup are as easy to find as they are for a Prado. I really wanted a 1996 Prado, but it’s way out of my budget. Should I wait for a Prado to come down in price, o r go ahead with the Pajero and its Toyota engine?

I really wouldn’t recommend the Pajero with the 5VZ engine. The seller is offering it at such a low price because it’s had some major work done, like an engine swap with a different brand. Most buyers prefer original vehicles o r ones that haven’t been heavily modified. It’s usually best to avoid cars with significant changes like that. If you’re looking for a good J95, you should be prepared to spend at least 4 million.
