Pak Suzuki Rejected my Payment

Pak Suzuki Rejected my Payment

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding a recent transaction with a dealership. I paid 100% advance payment for an Alto on December 13, 2022, and only received a receiving on the photocopy of the pay order. After multiple calls, the dealership provided an apparently incomplete PBO, which was not signed. In January, they informed me that the payment has been rejected by Pak Suzuki, but did not clarify what this meant. They then spent several weeks negotiating with Pak Suzuki for more quota.

Finally, on March 3, 2023, someone from the dealership shared a cheque in my name for the exact amount I paid on December 13, 2021. Im confused as to why my payment was held for three months and then returned to me. Is this legal? Do I have any options if I pursue legal action? Any guidance would be appreciated.

Thank you.

It seems like your dealership is the one responsible for this situation. Although they didnt have a quota, they still accepted payment from you without ensuring that you would receive a confirmed PBO.
