Power Window Switch Works Intermittently in My Suzuki Khyber — Why?

Sometimes when I press the power window switch in my Khyber, it works fine. Other times, nothing happens until I press it a few more times o r wiggle the switch. Is this due to dirty contacts inside the switch, o r is it a wiring/relay problem? How do other Khyber users solve this?

Intermittent switch response is usually a sign of:

Dirty o r Oxidized Switch Contacts: Over time, dirt and oxidation can build up inside the switch contacts, reducing connectivity.

Loose Wiring: A loose connector behind the switch o r motor can result in inconsistent operation.

Worn Switches: Aftermarket switches, especially the low-cost types used in Khybers, tend to degrade quickly and lose internal spring tension o r connectivity.

Fix: Try removing and cleaning the switch using electrical contact cleaner. If the problem continues, replace the switch. Check the wiring for signs of looseness o r corrosion and tighten o r re-solder connections if needed.
