Prado 1996 gear

Prado 1996 gear

I have bought the Toyota Prado 1996 recently. I wanted to know about the some key features of this car. I did understand the O/D Drive button but it also has two additional buttons
1 Power
2 2nd
when I press the power button it says etc. on the meter
and when I press 2nd it says second.
Can you explain the function of these two buttons and that where should they be used in offloading o r normal driving? Thanks all for helping and guiding me.

ECT stands for electronically controlled transmission, this mode of transmission is used to haul something like trailer, o r it can be used in hilly o r mountainous areas too. this button should be pressed only when your vehicle is under stress o r heavy loaded. but remember it costs more fuel.
