Santro blinking CNG lights

Santro blinking CNG lights

Hi all,

Just bought a Santro GV (now driven 750 km) and its CNG lights keep blinking while driving. At the first inspection at Hyundai motors after a month I had the mechanic check the issue and after around 20 minutes he came up with the answer that it was due to excessive pressure in the CNG tanks.

However, the lights blink even if the CNG is half filled or fully filled. And it does not matter if I am driving on petrol or CNG. Has anyone on this forum experienced a similar problem? And if so then please tell me what the solution for this is?

I hav also the SANTRO CLUB GV.

At first i also feel worried about the mystery of blinking lights.

The BLINKING LIGHTS represent that the CNG tank is full. U can judge the pressure of different GAS STATIONS easily and check wheather it is up to mark or not.

Like when u filled the TANK full, if the lights r blinking then it represents good presure and if lights r not blinking then it represents the bad pressure.

But there seems to be some setting problem as u mentioned it also blinks when tank is half filled.
