Scarcity of mechanics.

Some days ago my Swift was having some problems.I took it to a posh looking shop in G7 called Perfect Cng.I got everything serviced but the car became worse.IT wont start now.I took it to another mechanic and he robbed me off 6000RS still no advancement.Then i took it to another one.All of them tried their best to fix it but nobody could.In this process my car was ruined.It is giving out smoke now as the mechanics raced it so much and destroyed the engine and my bank account.Later it was found by a friend of mine in Haripur that the CNG intake pipe had contracted and i had wasted so much money on nothing.So i spent 50RS and got my car fixed.Anyways Could someone tell me where all the "REAL" mechanics are.Thanks.

Sorry to hear about the mechanics rip off. Glad to know the problem was finally fixed. I am not in Pakistan, but definately agree with you on the crook mechanics story. They are in every country. In US too, they will tell you 10 different things while they know perfectly well what is wrong with the car. It may be just a little pipe, like you said, but they keep charging you for different things which are not even wrong in the car.

In US, its a tricky business to find a trustworthy mechanic, just like it is in Pakistan too. I have known a trusted mechanic here for the last 7 or 8 years now, I always go to him for the car tune up and upkeep. Finding a right mechanic is just like finding the right Medical Doctor or a dentist, the only difference is, that the doctor fixes you when you are out of form and mechanic fixes your car when that get a little out of form.
