Sport mode in cvt transmission of city vario
Sport mode in cvt transmission of city vario
A freind of mine was boasting that S position of the shifter in city vario donates sport mode and turning to 'S' mode results in exceptional raise in accelaration. Is this correct or he was just boasting. He was actually comparing that prosmatec can never equal 'S' mode in city vario. So what is the story after all.

well buddy .. the real deal is tht. if u wud hav noticed tht the city has an iDSI engine which stands for intelligent Dual and Sequential Ignition~ and i believe u know tht there are two spark plugs per cylinder.. 8 plugs in total! so when ure drivin in nanny mode "D" and hav a light foot on the Play pedal (Accelator) the spark plugs fire sequentially .. one sparks..ignites fuel..then the second .. to burn off left out fuel..hence the good milage.. but when u engage the SPORT mode "S" or hav a Lead foot on the go pedal... the spark plugs fire at once... hence a high power KABOOM in the cylinder.. hence boasting accelation... No wonder it won the Japan car of the YEAR in 2002.. (actually its hatch back version called FIT in Japan/ Jazz in rest of the world won..) but u cant BEAT a Prosmatic equipped civic with it...
