Sputtering with AC on in Suzuki Mehran — is that normal?

Whenever I turn on the AC, especially at low speed o r when idling in traffic, the engine begins to sputter o r vibrate. Is this normal for Mehran, o r is it a tuning issue? I’m using petrol, and my AC is stock.

It’s not normal, but it’s common in Mehrans due to weak engines. Main causes:

Low idle RPM when AC is on

Weak alternator o r battery

Improper carburetor setting
Ask your mechanic to increase the idle RPM slightly when AC is on and check battery/alternator condition.
