Suzuki Mehran New Leaf Spring
Suzuki Mehran New Leaf Spring
I am thinking about getting new Kamani fitted. I believe there is only Pakistani made available.
My current genuine kamani/leaf springs have a slight sagging/drooping on the driver side.
I have also been told the car frame has some alignment issue o r something of the like, that cant be corrected.
Will new Pakistani kamani be better than genuine sagging ones?
Anything else to consider?
Also I dont want to get current kamani repaired/adjusted done once already as it will just sagg again soon after.
One kamani maker has said that left side is supposed to be higher due to road camber.
Two have said that my car kamani is low.

I recommend using Pakistani kamani leaf spring as it offers better performance. However, keep in mind that you need to install new leaf springs on both sides, as using one new and one old leaf spring will result in unequal shock absorption, and the newer side might remain slightly higher.
Ignore any suggestions stating that both leaf springs need to be in the same curve. It is not necessary for optimal performance. Instead, ensure both sides have new leaf springs.
If you want to observe the difference in sag, take some pictures of the car while it is parked on a straight surface. This will help you compare the height and alignment of the cars suspension.
