Toyota Corolla 2.OD (2C Engine) Tuning & Preventive Maintena

Dear Friends,

For Diesel Engines i have heard that only keep changing the Engine Oil on time and no need of any other kind of Tune up or Maintenance unless you feel some problem or problem really comes to you.

Please discuss and clarify according to your knowledge and experience, as soon again Corolla 2.OD sale will go high as CNG is becoming headache rather than any benefit. So here i am expecting high number of replies to get clarify for Diesel Engine Tune ups and Preventive Maintenance.
