Toyota Corolla Gli 1.3 RPM Issue after Transmission Overhauled

Hi
My GLi 1.3 automatic had gear slipping issues, so I had it overhauled by a transmission expert in Karachi. Now, after the overhaul, the RPMs are slightly higher than before:

Before: 80 km/h - 2000 RPM, 100 km/h - 2500 RPM
After: 80 km/h - 2200 to 2250 RPM, 100 km/h - 2650 to 2750 RPM
Im wondering if these RPM levels are normal for my Gli 1.3 Automatic o r if theyre out of specs. This change seems to have reduced my fuel efficiency by 1.5 to 2 km/l. Should I be concerned, and is there anything I should check for the cause?

Hey, can you just check with him to hook up the scanner and confirm if everythings all good with the gear shift and torque converter lock-up?
