Toyota Corolla Mileage Issue - Need Advice

Hey, everyone!

Im at my wits end with my Corolla. I dont know much about cars, so I rely on forums and local mechanics to gather information.

Whenever I ask someone about their mileage, they tell me theyre getting around 12-15 km/ltr, while Im struggling to achieve 7-9 km/ltr.

It doesnt matter how I drive—whether Im light on the pedal o r heavy, in heavy traffic o r smooth sailing—I just cant figure out the problem.

Heres what Ive tried so far:

1. Changed the spark plugs
2. Cleaned the catalytic converter
3. Cleaned the throttle body
4. Regularly maintained and changed all fluids and filters

I even had a local mechanic connect a computer scanner to check for errors, but no luck.

On the same route and routine, my Civic X gets around 11-12 km/ltr, but my Corolla is bleeding me dry. Any suggestions o r advice would be greatly appreciated!
