Toyota Corolla Rust Issues – How Bad Can It Get?

Hi all,

I recently noticed some rust forming around the wheel wells and under the doors of my Toyota Corolla. I wash my car regularly, so I was surprised to see it.

Is rust a common issue with Corollas? What’s the best way to stop it from spreading? Should I get it treated professionally, o r is there a DIY solution?
