Toyota Yaris Coolant Leak – Could It Be the Radiator?
Hello all,
I’ve been topping up the coolant in my Toyota Yaris more frequently, and I’m starting to suspect that the radiator might be leaking. I can’t see any visible puddles on the ground, but I’ve noticed the coolant level s quickly after driving.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue with their Yaris? What are some signs of a radiator leak, and how can I confirm if the radiator is the problem?
Appreciate any advice!

If your Toyota Yaris is losing coolant quickly but you don’t see visible puddles, the leak could be small o r internal. Check for white o r crusty residue around the radiator, hoses, and connections, as dried coolant often leaves behind traces. A sweet smell in the engine bay is another sign of a leak. You can also perform a radiator pressure test to confirm if the system is losing coolant. If the radiator itself is not visibly leaking, inspect the heater core and water pump, as leaks in these areas might not immediately show on the ground. If you find the leak, minor ones may be sealed with a radiator sealant, but for larger o r internal leaks, replacing the faulty component is the best solution.
