Hello all,

I recently had an issue with my Toyota Yaris where the gas cap warning light came on, and the car wasn’t passing emissions tests. The mechanic mentioned that the purge control valve could be faulty.

Can a faulty purge control valve trigger the gas cap warning light, o r are there other causes? Should I replace it myself, o r is it better to have it professionally done?
