Toyota Yaris Exterior Lights – Issues with Headlights o r Tail Lights?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been having some trouble with the exterior lights on my Toyota Yaris. One of the headlights seems dimmer than the other, and I’m also getting intermittent issues with the tail lights not functioning properly.

Has anyone had similar issues with the lighting system on their Yaris? How did you go about diagnosing and fixing the problem? Could this be related to electrical issues, o r is it more likely that the bulbs themselves need replacing?

Thanks for any insights!

It sounds like the issues with the headlights and tail lights could be related to either the bulbs themselves o r an electrical issue. If one headlight is dimmer than the other, it could be a sign that the bulb is wearing out, o r the connection might be loose. For the tail lights, intermittent issues could point to a bad connection o r a faulty fuse. Start by checking the bulbs and replacing them if they appear worn out o r damaged. If the problem persists, inspect the wiring and connections, ensuring there are no corrosion o r loose wires. If everything seems in good condition, consider having an auto electrician check for any electrical faults in the system.
