Toyota Yaris Purge Control Valve – Is It Worth Replacing?

Hi there,

I’m dealing with an issue in my Toyota Yaris where the engine isn’t performing as smoothly as it used to. After doing some research, I suspect the purge control valve might be the culprit.

For anyone who’s replaced this valve in their Yaris, is it a complicated job? Is it necessary to replace the whole valve, o r can it be cleaned o r repaired? Also, what could happen if the issue isn’t addressed?
