Toyota Yaris Radiator Leak – Should I Repair o r Replace It?
Hi there,
I’ve discovered a small radiator leak in my Toyota Yaris, and I’m wondering whether it’s worth trying to repair it o r if I should just replace the whole radiator. The leak isn’t huge, but it’s persistent.
For those who have dealt with this issue, what route did you take? Did you repair it yourself, o r did you opt for a full replacement? How much did the repair/replacement cost you?
Thanks for your guidance!

If the radiator leak in your Toyota Yaris is small and not affecting performance significantly, you could try a temporary fix using a radiator sealant. However, this is usually a short-term solution and may not work for all types of leaks. If the leak is coming from a seam o r core, replacement is often the best long-term solution. Many owners opt to replace the radiator, as a persistent leak can worsen over time and lead to overheating o r engine damage. The cost of a replacement varies, typically ranging from $200 to $500 for parts and labor if done professionally. If you have mechanical experience, you may be able to replace it yourself for a lower cost.
