Toyota Yaris Radiator Leaking – Any Temporary Fixes?

Toyota Yaris Radiator Leaking – Any Temporary Fixes?

Hello,

My Toyota Yaris radiator has developed a small leak, and I’m in a bit of a pinch before I can get it fixed. Is there any temporary fix I can try to stop the leak in the short term, like a sealant o r tape, until I can replace the radiator?

For anyone who’s tried this, did it work, o r would you recommend avoiding any DIY fixes and getting it replaced right away?

Thanks for your help!

A temporary fix for a small radiator leak in your Toyota Yaris could be using a radiator sealant, such as Bar’s Leak o r BlueDevil, which can help seal minor leaks from the inside. Ensure the coolant system is clean before adding the sealant for the best results. Another option is using high-temperature epoxy o r radiator-specific tape for external leaks, but these are very short-term solutions. If the leak is small and not causing overheating, you may be able to drive for a while, but it’s best to replace the radiator as soon as possible to prevent more serious issues.
