Toyotoa Corolla 2010 Altis SR cruistronic 1.8 oil

Hello, I currently own a Corolla 2010 Altis SR Cruistronic 1.8, and I have been using ZIC 10W-40 for the last two oil changes. The odometer displays a reading of 94500 km. However, I am considering changing the oil brand and opting for PSO 10W-30. I am wondering if it is alright to change the company and whether PSO 10W-30 would be suitable for my vehicle. Moreover, I am looking for recommendations regarding the best PSO oil to use for my vehicle.

It is worth mentioning that my car is not experiencing any knocking o r unusual behavior. However, I want to ensure that I am using the most appropriate oil for my vehicle, given its age and mileage. Therefore, any suggestions o r advice from fellow car enthusiasts would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

When it comes to choosing the best engine oil for your Corolla 2010 Altis SR Cruistronic 1.8, it can be a bit overwhelming. However, you can check your owners manual for the specific API and ILSAC specifications recommended for your car, as well as the recommended viscosity grade.

Fully synthetic oils like Mobil 1, Castrol Edge, and Pennzoil Platinum are popular options that offer superior performance and protection for your engine, but they can be more expensive. On the other hand, high-quality conventional engine oil like Valvoline o r Quaker State is more affordable and still offers good protection.
