Using 175/60 R13 Tyre Size in Chevy Joy

Hello Bros,

I am already using 165/65 R13 sized tyre in Chevrolet Joy made by Good Year but today a friend of mine suggested me to install 175/60 R13. Please advise should I go with this installation? I doubt if this will cause any damage in case of touching with the body of the car? If some Joy rider has already installed this tyre size then his comments can truly throw light regarding the performance, suspension and pick of joy.

as per technical manuals, it is not recommended to install 175/65 R13. but i have seen a peach color Joy at islamabad where the owner has placed the Yokohama A539 Series with same spec.

in my view, on turning the wheels, tyres may touch the body hence ruinning your front tyres. In case of rear, if heavy load is placed same effect may be acheived. so it is not advisable to go on these ratios.

if you install these specs my suggestion is to increase the tyre pressure from 32 psi to 34~35 Psi. the road grip will be increased along with good fuel economy.
