What are the signs that my Suzuki Mehrans starter motor is failing?

I’ve noticed that my Mehran sometimes takes longer to start, and I hear a clicking sound when I turn the key. Could this be a sign of a failing starter motor? What are the common symptoms of a bad starter motor in a Suzuki Mehran?
