What causes poor throttle response in Suzuki Khyber, especially with A/C on?

Whenever I turn on the air conditioner, my Khyber loses throttle response and becomes very sluggish. The engine s RPMs and takes time to pick up speed again. This becomes a problem during overtaking o r climbing slopes. Is this due to a weak engine, bad tuning, o r is the A/C load too much for the engine?

If your Khyber becomes sluggish when the A/C is turned on, it means the engine is struggling with the added load. Common causes include weak engine compression, dirty throttle valve, and poor carburetor tuning. The idle might too low due to an unadjusted idle-up function a small vacuum system in carbureted cars. Make sure the vacuum actuator for A/C idle-up is working, and also clean the carburetor throat and butterfly valve. Re-check ignition timing with the A/C on to compensate for the load.
