What’s Causing My Rear Tires to Wear More on One Side in My Suzuki Khyber?

What’s Causing My Rear Tires to Wear More on One Side in My Suzuki Khyber?

I just noticed that one of my rear tires is wearing more on one side. The other tires are fine. Could it be an axle issue o r a bent rim? Is uneven rear tire wear common in older Khybers, especially on rough Pakistani roads?

Uneven rear tire wear on just one side is often overlooked in Khybers, but it usually signals a rear axle misalignment o r bent suspension part.

Possible Reasons:
Bent Rear Axle o r Torsion Bar: Especially after hitting a pothole o r an accident.

Sagging Rear Suspension: Worn rear shocks o r leaf springs can cause the wheel to sit at the wrong angle.

Improper Load Distribution: Carrying heavy loads regularly can throw off rear suspension geometry.

Fix:
Have a mechanic inspect the rear axle and suspension for bending o r sagging.

Replace worn leaf springs o r shocks.

Get a rear alignment check — even though the rear isnt adjustable on some Khybers, misalignment can be detected and addressed.
