Why Do My Khyber’s Tires Get Uneven Tread Patterns Even After Regular Balancing?

Even though I get my tires balanced regularly, they still wear unevenly — some have wavy tread, others have flat spots. I’m confused whether this is due to poor tire quality, old shocks, o r something wrong with the wheel alignment.

Tire balancing helps with vibrations, but it doesn’t prevent uneven tread wear. That’s more related to suspension, alignment, o r tire quality.

Likely Causes:
Worn-out Shocks o r Struts: In older Khybers, shocks often lose damping, causing the tire to bounce and wear unevenly.

Tire Quality: Cheap o r old tires can develop tread scalloping even with proper maintenance.

Bad Alignment: Even if your tires are balanced, misalignment causes uneven wear patterns feathering, cupping, etc..

Fix:
Replace worn shocks o r struts important if your Khyber feels bouncy.

Get a four-wheel alignment.

Avoid using very old o r low-grade tires — look for trusted brands like General, Dunlop, o r Bridgestone.
