Why Do the Doors and Windows of My Khyber Feel Hard to Operate?

Over time, manual window rollers and door latches in Khyber can become stiff o r squeaky due to dust, worn-out internal mechanisms, o r lack of lubrication. Power window conversions if installed also often fail due to low-quality components.

Stiff windows and doors are usually caused by:

Dry o r rusted window rollers o r door mechanisms.

Dust and dirt buildup inside the door channels.

Damaged o r misaligned door hinges.

In case of power window kits aftermarket, the issue could be weak motors o r poor installation.

Fixes:

Apply grease o r silicon spray inside the window channels and on door hinges.

Open door panels and clean the internal mechanism.

Replace o r repair manual rollers o r motors if they’re worn out.

Check for proper door alignment.
