Considering the fuel quality and road conditions in Pakistan, what are the major reasons for catalytic converter clogging? Does the use of low-quality petrol and excessive idling contribute to premature failure?

Catalytic converters can become clogged for several reasons in Pakistan:

Low-Quality Petrol: Many fuel stations in Pakistan sell petrol with higher sulfur content, which can cause deposits inside the catalytic converter and clog it over time.
Excessive Idling: Frequent idling in traffic, especially in cities like Karachi and Lahore, causes incomplete combustion, leading to carbon buildup in the converter.
Engine Misfire o r Poor Maintenance: An engine misfire o r poorly maintained engine such as improper fuel-air mixture o r faulty spark plugs can send unburned fuel into the catalytic converter, leading to clogging and damage.
