Why Do Toyota Camry Power Door Locks Work Intermittently?

Why Do Toyota Camry Power Door Locks Work Intermittently?

If power locks sometimes work and sometimes don’t, could the cause be a weak actuator, electrical interference, a bad key fob, o r damaged wiring?

Intermittent issues with power door locks could be caused by:

Weak actuator: An actuator that’s beginning to fail may work intermittently.
Electrical interference: There could be interference from other electronic systems in the car, especially if there’s a weak battery o r faulty alternator.
Bad key fob: A failing battery in the key fob o r damage to the fobs internal circuit board can cause intermittent issues.
Damaged wiring: Loose o r frayed wiring connections can cause intermittent lock/unlock behavior.
