Why does Honda Citys throttle position sensor TPS cause acceleration problems?

A faulty throttle position sensor TPS can result in hesitation during acceleration, irregular RPM, o r sudden power loss. How can Honda City owners diagnose, clean, o r replace a failing TPS?

A faulty throttle position sensor TPS in the Honda City can cause acceleration problems, such as hesitation during throttle response, irregular RPM, o r a sudden loss of power. The TPS monitors the position of the throttle valve and sends this data to the engine control unit ECU. If the sensor is not working correctly, the ECU will not be able to regulate the air-fuel mixture efficiently, resulting in poor acceleration and rough engine performance. Symptoms of a failing TPS include jerky acceleration, stalling, o r an erratic idle speed. Honda City owners can diagnose the issue by using an OBD2 scanner to check for fault codes related to the TPS. If the sensor is faulty, it will need to be replaced to restore proper engine performance.
