Why does my Mehran’s windshield fog up and streak during humid o r rainy days?

During the monsoon season, my windshield gets foggy on the inside and also has streak marks on the outside after using the wipers. What causes both the fog and the streaks? How can I prevent it while driving?

Fogging inside and streaking outside is caused by:

Humidity inside the car from wet shoes, clothes, o r breath.

Dirty wiper blades o r glass on the outside. To fix this:

Use the defogger/vent on fresh air mode, not recirculate.

Wipe the inside with anti-fog spray o r use a homemade mix of vinegar + water.

Keep the windshield and wipers very clean to avoid streaks during rain.
