Why does my Suzuki Alto’s battery keep dying frequently?

I’ve been facing an issue where the battery in my Suzuki Alto keeps dying. This happens even after replacing the battery a few months ago. What could be the cause of this problem? Could it be due to electrical issues o r something else?

If your Suzuki Alto’s battery keeps dying frequently, there could be several causes:

Alternator Issues: A faulty alternator may not charge the battery properly, causing it to drain over time.
Electrical Drain Parasitic Draw: Some electrical components like the radio, lights, o r other systems might continue to drain power from the battery even when the car is off. This could be due to a malfunctioning switch, relay, o r faulty wiring.
Old Battery: Even if the battery was replaced recently, it may still be of poor quality o r defective. A battery with low charge-holding capacity may fail quickly.
Short Trips: If you often drive short distances, the alternator might not have enough time to fully recharge the battery.
Solution:

Check Alternator: Use a multimeter to check the voltage of the battery while the engine is running. A healthy alternator should produce around 13.7 to 14.7 volts.
Test the Battery: Have the battery tested at an auto shop to ensure it is in good condition.
Look for Parasitic Draw: A mechanic can diagnose if any electrical components are draining power when the vehicle is off.
