Why does my Suzuki Altos power window move slowly o r not at all?

I’ve noticed that the power window on my Suzuki Alto moves very slowly, o r sometimes doesn’t move at all when I try to operate it. What could be causing this? Is it an issue with the window motor, o r is there something else that could be affecting its operation?

If the power window in your Suzuki Alto is moving slowly o r not at all, there could be several causes:

Weak Window Motor: Over time, the motor that powers the window can wear out o r lose efficiency, causing the window to move slowly o r stop working entirely.
Lack of Lubrication: If the window tracks o r the window regulator are not properly lubricated, it can cause the window to move slowly. The friction increases, making it harder for the motor to operate the window.
Damaged Window Regulator: The window regulator is the mechanical system that moves the window up and down. If its broken o r jammed, it can cause the window to operate slowly o r not at all.
Worn-out Switch: Sometimes the issue may lie with the switch itself, which may not be sending a sufficient signal to the motor.
How to fix it:

Inspect the window motor for any signs of wear o r damage. If necessary, replace it.
Lubricate the window tracks to reduce friction and make the movement smoother.
Check the window regulator to see if it’s damaged o r misaligned. If it’s broken, it will need to be replaced.
Test the power window switch to see if it is working correctly. If it’s faulty, replacing the switch should fix the issue.
