Why Does My Suzuki Khybers Radio Signal Cut Out When I Drive on Rough Roads?
Whenever I drive on rough, gravel roads in Pakistan, I experience radio signal interruptions, especially when the tires hit potholes. I’ve been wondering if this issue could be linked to my tires o r wheel alignment. Is there a connection between the state of my tires and radio reception?

Radio signal cuts on rough roads are commonly caused by vibration, electrical interference, o r issues related to your cars antenna and the wiring around it, which can be exacerbated by tire-related issues.
Possible Causes:
Tire Imbalance: If the tires are unbalanced o r have uneven pressure, they can cause vibrations that affect the car’s electrical systems, including the radio receiver.
Antenna Problems: The antenna may be poorly connected o r loose, and rough driving might worsen the signal loss.
Electrical Interference: Tire vibrations may cause physical interference with the radio’s electrical connections, disrupting the signal.
Fix:
Check Tire Balance: Ensure the tires are balanced and properly inflated. Unbalanced tires can cause significant vibrations that might affect the radio.
Inspect the Antenna and Wiring: Have the radio antenna checked for loose connections o r damage, particularly near the fender o r roof where the antenna is mounted.
Test for Interference: Ensure there are no issues with the vehicle’s electrical system that could be causing interference.
