Why does my Suzuki Mehran engine sputter when accelerating?

When I press the accelerator, especially in 2nd o r 3rd gear, the engine feels like it stutters o r jerks slightly before picking up speed. It happens more when the engine is cold. Could this be a spark plug issue o r fuel problem?

Sputtering during acceleration is often caused by:

Worn spark plugs o r plug wires

Dirty fuel filter o r weak fuel pump

Improper ignition timing

Clogged carburetor jets especially in old models
Get your plugs, wires, and fuel system checked, and make sure the timing is set properly.
