Why does my Suzuki Mehran get dents so easily even with minor bumps?

My Mehran seems to get dents with the lightest contact — even a kid leaning on the door caused a small dent. Is this because of the metal quality? Are Mehran body panels really that thin, o r is something wrong with my car?

The Suzuki Mehran is built with relatively thin sheet metal, which makes it more prone to dents compared to heavier cars. The main reasons include:

Lightweight construction: The body panels are thin, so even small impacts can leave dents.

Urban traffic conditions: With the crowded streets in cities like Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, Mehrans often get minor bumps from other vehicles, bikes, o r pedestrians. To avoid further damage, always park in areas where you can avoid congestion, and consider installing protective rubber strips on the doors.
