Why does my Suzuki Mehran overheat even after changing the thermostat?

I recently changed the thermostat in my Mehran because it was overheating. But the problem is still there — the temperature needle rises after 15-20 minutes of driving, especially in traffic. What could be causing this even after a new thermostat? Could it be a radiator issue o r something else?

Overheating even after replacing the thermostat could be due to several other reasons:

Clogged radiator

Weak water body water pump

Radiator fan not working properly

Air trapped in the cooling system

Low o r poor-quality coolant You should get the radiator cleaned and check if the fan kicks in at the right time. Also, bleed any air from the cooling system.
