Why does the power window in my Suzuki Alto make a grinding noise when I use it?

Whenever I use the power window in my Suzuki Alto, I hear a strange grinding noise. What could be causing this? Is it an issue with the window regulator, o r is there something wrong with the motor o r other parts of the window mechanism?

A grinding noise when using the power window in your Suzuki Alto is typically caused by one of the following issues:

Worn o r Damaged Window Regulator: The regulator, which is the mechanical system responsible for moving the window up and down, could be damaged o r worn out. If the parts inside the regulator are loose o r malfunctioning, it can cause grinding noises.
Debris o r Obstruction in the Window Tracks: Dirt, debris, o r foreign objects in the window tracks can cause the window to move unevenly and produce a grinding noise as the motor struggles to push the window.
Dry o r Insufficient Lubrication: If the window mechanism is not properly lubricated, it can create friction, which in turn causes the motor to make a grinding noise.
How to fix it:

Inspect the window regulator: Check if any parts are damaged o r loose. If the regulator is broken, it will need to be replaced.
Clean the window tracks: Remove any dirt o r debris from the window tracks to ensure smooth operation.
Lubricate the mechanism: Apply a silicone-based lubricant to the window tracks and regulator to reduce friction and eliminate the grinding noise.
