Why does the steering in Suzuki Mehran feel unstable at high speed?

When I take my Mehran above 80 km/h, the steering feels too light and sometimes unstable, especially on highways. It feels risky during lane changes o r overtaking. Could this be a suspension, alignment, o r tire issue? What can be done to improve high-speed stability and steering control?

This issue is common in Mehran due to its lightweight body, manual steering, and basic suspension. The instability can come from:

Poor wheel alignment

Worn-out suspension parts like tie rods, ball joints, shocks

Uneven o r under-inflated tyres

Loose steering rack

To improve stability:

Get a wheel alignment and balancing check every 6 months.

Replace any worn suspension components bushes, ball joints, shocks.

Use stock-size tyres 145/70 R12 for better control.

Keep tyre pressure optimal 28–30 PSI.

Also, avoid sudden lane changes o r sharp turns at high speed — Mehran isn’t designed for performance handling.
